Biraq has long been renowned throughout the former Yugoslavia for its production of table grapes. The vineyard lies where north-eastern and south-western air currents converge, the latter influenced by the nearby Drini i Bardhë river valley. This constant natural ventilation ensures healthy, well-formed bunches while preserving the site’s original agricultural vocation, which remains primarily dedicated to table grapes.
